We at BLC believe in working in partnership with all our customers be they a client in their own home, a group of care homes, a large corporation or local statutory services. No customer is too big or too small.

Our staff in the field are intrinsic to the delivery of a quality driven service and we feel it is important to work in partnership with them too.
We implement personalised programs of care for each client to ensure that their care is bespoke to them. We specialise in working with clients who have their own Direct Payments budgets or Personal Health budgets with a variety of services to assist them with their day to day management of their care.
24 Hour Live in Care
Live-in care provides you with an alternative to residential care. Your Care and support staff live with you, in your house, providing round-the-clock support.
A major benefit of our live in care service is the constant care and companionship you receive at home from a carer who is dedicated to your needs. The support can be as varied as you like, involving personal care and continence care, support with medication or helping with restricted mobility, to social activities.
Maintaining your home is important too – your carer can support with your housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and shopping, as well as trips out.
Often of greatest importance is the quality time a carer spends as a companion, chatting and simply keeping you company. What this then allows is time for you and your loved ones to be a family, spending quality time together.
Care in Your Own Home
Our care in your own home service offer, social care, and or support and is provided by carefully selected and support staff. We are experts in delivering quality homecare services in Blackpool and throughout the Fylde Coast. We understand that admitting or realising you may need help or support with day to day life can be a huge and sometimes life changing decision. We can provide short visits to much longer visits so if you need 30 mins to help you with your medication or a couple of hours for a shower meal prep and maybe even a social visit we can help.
We can provide continuing health care services to Adults children and young people. We will work with you to ensure you continue to live as independently as possible whilst ensuring your health needs are met. Continuing healthcare is for adults. Children and young people may receive a “continuing care package” We can provide bespoke help with NIV CPAP peg feeds end of life care and many other complex needs. Nursing and Care Home Staffing
We provide nursing and care staff for one-off cover, ad-hoc shifts or long term placements on both a full or part time basis. We are also able to respond quickly to short notice cover requests. We can provide staff who may be looking for more permanent roles in your home and offer temp to perm placements. For a bespoke temp to perm agreement please speak to our registered Manager.
Personalised Health Budgets and Direct payments
More and more people are choosing to have control over all aspects of their care from recruiting and managing the right people for them to designing their own care plan. To do this many local authorities are offering the option of a personal budget. In some cases, this can be quite daunting what do you do if a member of your staff is on holiday or goes off sick? BLC can help, we can supply staff to cover your gaps or we can manage your package for you ensuring that the care plan is designed with you and the team selected fit your chosen person specification.
A Personal Budget is when you receive payment from your local authority to allow you to choose the care that meets your needs.
There are different types of Personal Budgets:
Direct Payment – Payment is made straight into your bank account, you are then in charge of all aspects of your care, including sourcing carers and making payment. You will also be an employer so will have regulations to follow, unless you use the service of an agency, such as us who can act as the employer.
Personal Health Budgets – PHBs are more likely to be received if you have long-term conditions or disabilities. This budget will be allocated to support your health and wellbeing and is agreed between yourself and your local clinical commissioning group. You can choose to manage this budget yourself or have a representative to take care of this money for you.
As with direct payments you can choose to recruit manage and train your own staff team using agency cover from BLC for sickness annual leave or recruitment gaps or you can choose to work with BLC providing the full team and day to day management and training services.

If you require extra care and support, our experienced Nurses, Healthcare and Support staff can be on hand to provide a dedicated one-to-one service. This can be provided in your own home or in a care home setting.
