All of our staff undertake an extensive training programme before they can start work, and are offered opportunities for career development throughout their time at Baxter Life Care. Our training combines online courses with a practical aspect, giving management the chance to assess new staff before work begins in order to ensure the highest standards are reached. These mandatory training courses and practical assessments will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis to guarantee staff are kept up-to-date with the newest procedures and are still as competent as they were originally. We can also give the chance to work on your NVQs and a range of other training courses.

Our Online portal, ELFH, ensures that all mandatory training is in one place and that staff can access the training from wherever they are. This portal allows for training certificates to be easily checked to ensure they are all kept up-to-date and also to add additional courses as required to comply with legislation. There is a wide range of free courses that are not required, but this encourages staff members to gain certification in a wide range of courses using their own initiative.
